Speaker profile – Dr David Cunnington
Dr David Cunnington is a specialist sleep physician with over 20 years of experience in sleep medicine and co-founder of the online sleep resource SleepHub.com.au. David trained in sleep medicine both in Australia and at Harvard Medical School. He brings his broad range of training and experience to assessing and treating people with a range of sleep problems using a holistic approach.
David’s recent research has evaluated and developed non-drug treatments such as cognitive behavioural therapy & mindfulness meditation for insomnia and other sleep disorders. His research and commentaries on sleep have been published in leading medical journals such as Annals of Internal Medicine and The British Medical Journal. David produces the independent podcast Sleep Talk and appears regularly in the media as a commentator on sleep and health.
Dr Sanil Rege is a consultant psychiatrist and academic, with dual qualifications from the UK and Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK).
