Welcome to the webinar ‘Human Decision Making: From Fallibility to Psychological Safety’.

While humans possess remarkable capabilities, we are also deeply fallible. Perfection is an illusion; biases that shape our judgments and the limits of our cognitive capacity make mistakes inevitable. Although there are ways to mitigate these issues and reduce errors, we must still learn to cope with them when they occur.

Join Professor Jill Klein for a webinar presentation, as she discusses how these factors contribute to diagnostic error and how adopting a growth mindset allows us to take a healthier approach to our fallibility—one that enables us to learn from mistakes and respond with greater agility.

In this presentation, Professor Klein will cover:

  • Sources of human fallibility
  • Cognitive dissonance
  • How a growth mindset can help
  • Psychological safety

This session will strengthen your understanding of clinical decision-making and the role of fallibility, bias, and psychological safety in practice.
